It is disheartening to see that a man with the potential to change so much about the current political ecosystem in the US can't seem to escape perpetuating one of its darkest trends of late; shamelessly selling anything under the guise of some noble ideal. Not that Obama is remotely among the worst of the practitioners of this tactic (although if he was we'd be in serious trouble, because he is the most artful of them), but the fact that a man with Obama's rhetorical talent chooses to go that route is nonetheless disappointing.</p> Nice post.
